Avatar - Neytiri

Probably won't watch the movie, so I went out today and bought the Neytiri Avatar figure - only one left in the store !! Kind of whished that they had a larger fig, but this will be fine.
also went to the art store where I get my supplies sometimes and bought some Sharpie fine point markers to do panel lines on my Ironman figures and for the repaint on the old school "Fang of the Sun" mecha. Has any of you Gandam builders ever used this??

got a vision problem in my right eye, so I don't think the 3D would work for me . . . I'll probably let the mania die down and then go see the movie - don't really enjoy lines or crowded theaters. Glad you enjoyed the movie !! :D

Do you wear glasses for that vision problem? I had no trouble fitting the 3D glasses over my prescription glasses, if that was your concern.

I can sympathise with your dislike for crowded theatres though. Watching movies in the comfort of your own home is much nicer.

the glasses won't help, i had damage to my retina and had to have blood vessels cauterized with the laser cannon, so I have a fuzzy blind spot.

Yea, needs one of those high grade figures. Actions Figures don't quite cut it anymore.

for such a small scale it's not bad - needs to have some seam lines cleaned up (which I will do), has decent articulation for posing and as I posted on my blog, is easy for cast-off if you lean that way :P
