Before the End of the Year Recap

Thought I might do a recap of what’s been going on here on the electronic couch before the end of 2009.

Got some Laughing cow fromage (cheese) some Ritz crackers, and Sho Chiku Bai sake to fuel my post . . .

Here’s a little something that has been invaluable for me: I read Danny Choo’s posts when I first linked up to his site last February, gaining insight about what makes a blog or website successful - this is the “koan” or “mission statement” that was hidden in Danny's content: “ . . . stop and take a look at where you are in terms or reaching your goal, if you are still where you were 30 days ago, it will take you longer to reach that goal.” I paraphrased the actual text but you get the idea . . .

Make use of your resources.

I post some photos on Twitpics; my Otaku flavored content and photos are posted on figure.fm at www.dannychoo.com – some of my ota posts with modified content also show up on my blog titled “A Mountain Valley Journal” at www.bookindian.wordpress.com.

It has been a pleasure posting on figure.fm and reading the viewer’s comments – there have been quality posts that I have enjoyed reading and commenting on. The Community Armory always has great stuff, and the Live Bloggers provide real time views of the Tokyo Metropolis. Danny’s posts are superb, don’t know what else to say about that. Became a member of Shibuy246's blog and really enjoy Alan’s posts and photos – am looking forward to ordering my first “Combini Box” soon.

Learned about the Otaku community on dc.com,and revived my interest in my “Fang of the Sun” mecha, and gathered a “ton” of information that has carried me through starting up a new career pursuit.

Thank you Danny Choo and the members of the Otaku community, here’s to a productive and success filled 2010 for all of you. :D
