c77 day 1
few photos and lewts from today's run of comiket 77, hope u enjoy. I would like to write more but i'm really tired right now. unfortunately no plans on going for 2nd day but to rest for the anticipated 3rd day of glory
i think i should start blogging but i guess just a specific comiket article should be enough =)

7:45am. the people around me in line with me started lining up at around 12am. there was plenty more ahead on the stairs. the many people going up the stairs are the people from the respective vendors and merchants for circles and booths.
The bag that the Visual Arts/Key used for their merch. would've prefered the full on bags like the Fate stay night one

did not end up buying the Key pack that had thingies for Rewrite, Kudowafuta-( the bag illustration), and Little Busters. Friend got that one
The full on bag that the fate stay night goods came in.
These 2 things i am not too sure of. I asked a friend to buy this set for me.
Contents of the Fate stay night pack from the Fate Stay Night booth. There were 2 big booths for their respective movie firsts and the Nanoha movie booth was by far the longest. Friend was lining for a good 4hrs before buying his stuff which included a very nice cardigan jacket thing. photos later maybe.

Line Art works by Tony. Bought 2 but missed out on the awesome looking wall scroll. there were 2 scrolls, 1 was for Shining Wind, and 1 was Hatsune Miku, both drawn by Tony. Would've liked them but sold out for the day. so ended up waitin for 2hrs 45min for these 2 books that were plentifully in stock
Some pre C77 purchases, left is T2 Collect v1 released during c76 i think. and right is a random funny doujin i saw. both from Toranoana main store Akihabara

Was curious , Why is the 3rd Day very special ??
its very special for me and many doujin fans that are like me i guess. its the big "dansei muke" day, the doujinshi oriented for males.
it has one of the biggest names putting out their goods that are not affiliated with a company. This means no middle man and that the distributors are the circles/artists themselves which is something i like about comic market.
it has some of my most wanted items. this year i'm aiming for the C77, T2 artworks dakimakura which has very limited prints.
but 3rd day easily reaps in the most people out of the 3 days.
Making plans to attend Comic Con in San Diego July 2010 - haven't been for many moons :O

That UBW shirt... MUST GET. I sure as hell hope its not an exclusive, that shirt can have Cospa floating in millions in no time. GAR-ness sells.
Isn't it forbidden to line up before the day Comiket is held?
that is written in the catalogue yes, to prevent an over massive amount of people turning up too early
but unfortunately at this rate, with the many lining up the night before, the comiket committee will end up having to really do something drastic to stop this. however the lining up system from early evening hours of the previous day (that is around 9pm for the line the day before) is very fair and is extensive being able to cater for alot of people. Ariake and Big sight is big, but there will reach a limit. soon we might see an expansion of a 4th day which only time will tell
So much to see! So much to buy! I wish I went to C77. I'm trying to get my money up to get ready for C80.
indeed, when u consider random overspending, there will be more overspending on top of that consideration for sure
