First PVC figure I've ever bought, probably the only once since I'm not quite the type to buy static figures. I'd forgotten all about ordering this since I placed the order waaaay back in august-september, but it was a nice surprise when I got the shipping confirmation.
Box! It's bigger than I was expecting, I couldn't really get a nice shot of the whole thing. I saved it anyhow.
inside we've got some instructions in moonrunes, so I've got no idea what it's talking about. nothing that's not obvious, I wager.
the stand moves, neat! wasn't expecting this little bit, even if it's only a small range.
nice and secure packaging.
aaaand the actual figure. she's made very well, not excessively rigid so I don't really feel like I'll have to worry about her breaking. As an added bonus, her hat is attached via magnets!
close-up of the face. Nice job on their part with the details, it looks really good! No ugly holes or anything in the head either thanks to magnet-hat.
nothing fancy for accessories, but that's fine. Her ribbon goes on the stand's leg, then Marisa on top of that.
excellent work on all the little details. I didn't notice that she had her Hakkero in any of the promo shots. According to the touhou wiki it's one of her most important items, so it's a good little touch that they added it in there.
I must say, I'm rather partial to leaving the hat off, but don't have anywhere safe to keep it where I won't worry about it getting damaged, so on her head it stays.
The stand also lights up, but all my AA batteries are recharging right now and the LED is extremely dim...I'm hoping it gets much brighter once they have a full charge.
Very happy with this, especially since Marisa is awesome. I just wish they'd give us a figma since Reimu is getting one!

Jealous... I missed preordering her because I wasn't 100 percent sure if I wanted her or not, but now... X( She is so cute...
I'm sure you can still get on on ebay or paletweb or somewhere...course she'll be kinda more expensive now too.
Hmmm unless Amiami brings more in Paletweb is probably the best way to go!

Amiami had more stock in recently. I think they will get more stock in the future if you're patient. It's a higher price, but there are exclusive bonuses that you won't find elsewhere.
Oh wow. Now I'm worried about my figure! I pre-ordered that figure back in July since it was the only AND cheapest place that was offering this figure at that time. Then when Ami Ami came into the picture I was pretty much upset knowing that they had awesome exclusives I couldn't get anywhere else. DAMN THEM. Sadly I'm out of state where that figure is going to get shipped to. So I'll find out when I get back home... Oh dear I hope it isn't another nightmare...
Wow, I suddenly feel very lucky mine got to me safe and sound. My situation was the same as his- they were the only one offering a preorder at the time and I hand't even heard of AmiAmi when I ordered it. I certainly will be avoiding them in the future just to be on the safe side.

pretty awesome! I don't have this preordered, but I did manage to preorder the nendoroid version of her. Probably can't afford both, so what do you guys think, DC? Nendoroid version or this version?
I had a horrible experience trying to obtain this item. I don't think it's a good idea to buy from Paletweb if you're desperate, just because Amiami and elsewhere are out of stock. Also note that Paletweb's price is now $120 USD + shipping, as opposed to their $80 + shipping a week ago.
