Toshiya's Room

Posted by Toshiya

Name: Don
Age: 19
Been an Otaku for: I'm not too sure, I started watching anime since I was 10... if you count that as a starting point, sure 9 years and counting. It all started with Sailor Moon, I did not like it that much, but it started the whole thing.
Nationality: Whirlwind of Asians
Outline of Collection: Figures, Pillows, A few posters, Manga, Games, I have more than enough fingers to count how many of each I have, but too many to try.
Favorite Item: Queen Size Temper Pedic Bed .... the poster above it

Hey, I know my figures are not open. I like them in their box...however there is always that evil temptation to open them. I'm a pretty big Sekirei fan (heh..heh) and a Sheryl Nome fan, you might not notice but there has not been that many merchandise of her so yeah. Walls are pretty empty, working on that (poor), other than that... this is a poor college student's room. Due to my lack of brains and it's getting late and cold, repost.. =(

Queen Size Temper Pedic Bed for the Ladies *wink*

Funny note: all females that ever went on that bed magically fall asleep in a matter of minutes.

Not too sure if that's a good or bad thing.

Got my small manga and game collection and 2 of my Sengoku Rance figures (hilarious game)

That Sheryl Nome clock, if you can see, is pretty evil when it wakes me up. it plays one of her phrases when the alarm goes off...and she won't stop repeating it until you wake up.

My small manga collection, only with one complete set, Sekirei.
Working on Freezing though, good stuff. Go Go Uesugi Kenshin!

can't go wrong with funyuns, not so otaku related, but there's some stuff hidden in the box below

I know, "why are they still in their box"
I like it that way, and I also hate it that way...maybe it's a collector's instinct

Mouseover = load notes.

Thanks to my home dawg who gave me that awesome poster in the back, made my walls a little less bland. Queen's blade figures always make me smile...if you know what I mean

Go Go Sekirei!

The Nana figure is one of favorite, the combination of so many good things, nurse, swimsuit, and mecha

haha, I had a lot of people ask me that. Can't really explain why but it's to keep them mint I guess. They come with a window viewing box for a reason XD

I was doing some redecorating and I guess I completely forgot about it. It's a pretty old poster from a concert in California. One of them took my sister's stuffed animal haha

Hehe it isn't bad at all, if I walked in I'd be like "An Otaku lives here!" It makes me nervous that your figures are still in their boxes, I don't know how you can keep them in there without wanting to just stare at them, but I do get why you do it. More power to you, really, I wish I had that control.

I can always stare at them inside their boxes, but it's not as satisfying T_T. I had times were I was a bit twitchy when I wanted to open one, but yeah self-control. Personally, I think the best time I would open one is when I'm depressed or when I want to reward myself for doing something good. haha.

I keep my figures in their boxes as well! *high five~*

The only figures out of their boxes in my room are trading figures that come in random boxes. x: I can't really explain why it irks me so much to open a box and display the figure as is. Guess it's just my collector nature to keep them mint. Plus, Japanese companies usually do an awesome job of making boxes that work great for display. \o/

Anyways, nice collection. I like how you have your games working alongside your manga as part of the design too. XD
