Anime On Display Meet-Up
This is my first time arranging a meet up with fellow people on Figure.fm. I saw a bunch of people doing it in other countries, so I though WHAT THE HAY. I'LL TRY IT.
Location: San Francisco, Hotel Kabuki (It is the hotel right above Japan Town)
So I was thinking we should have a figure photoshoot / meet-up at the small convention Anime on Display (AoD) on Jan. 30th or Jan. 31st. I'll be there on both days since I might be working at the dealers room as a vendor.
I think it would be great to have a cool photo shoot with all our figures!
Maybe after we can all eat out somewhere in Japan Town since this year it is at the Kabuki hotel.
What do you all think? Any suggestions on what we could do?

For those who are just passing by, AoD is in San Francisco...you might want to start off with giving a location to meet up so as not to freak out those interested but obviously not in contact with the host.
On a private note, do give each other your MSN/cellphones for contacting purposes during the convention. If you're an idiot IRL, we'll blackmail you...
Most likely I will not be going as I have work. For those going, do have fun!
I'd suggest a dinner where you all get and chat... photoshooting w/ food has always been a DC thing. If you do have time during the convention, I might add it'd be quite awesome to walk around and look at stuff together. Time does fly when you're having fun.
Don't have the Dosh to go back to the Bay Area this soon ( I grew up about 50 miles east of SF in Fairfield ) But, I will be going to Con-nichiwa in Tucson at the end of March. http://www.con-nichiwa.com Hope to see some of you there!

I wish I was in a better area for a DC meet up. I'm glad to see some people trying to get together for a meet-up in the US, though! Maybe, one day, I will find other DC readers in the south...!
Is a 16 year old short dude welcomed? I actually never heard of Anime of Display before...despite living in the Bay Area for a decade...
