Which is more "PG"ish

so I'm currently working on my PG 00 Raiser, just finish 00 Gundam....i pose it PG Strike Gundam, it seems Strike looks more PGish for me, its has more kinda PGish detail than 00 Gundam, as for the thumb strike can do a 360 turn, but the 00 Gundam can't...but overall i love them both :-P
now I'm taking a break on the PG, and start on doing my 1/144 Masurao

00 Gundam finish, now just 0 Raiser need to finish

strike thumb can do a 360 turn, so it can do more realistic pose
as for 00 Gundam, it can only bend down just like the fingers
really love the gimmick on the Twin drive
Yes, I love it too
PG strike has a more gundam evolve feeling.
That Gundam Evo was based on this model
The only real baseline that a gunpla is in PG form is of course it says so.. Is in the 1/60 scale, the details are superb and has lots and lots of parts.
You can't really say it's not PGs because this thing has less features than the other ones or has less parts or less articulation. Lolwhut?! Not as realistic because the thumbs can't turn a 360 degree. =P
Heck I'm building an MG GP01 right now that was released way back in '97 and this thing has fewer gimmicks than today's NG 1/100s..
GP01.. was there even a gimmick for it? Nowadays it seems like the quality of HG and NG are begining to blend, as much larger HG kits are released (Reborns, Nu,Khastriya).. and it seems like the NG like itself is moving towards early MG capabilities (NG 1/100 Flag has 5 finger articulation, and we didn't get that till the Zaku 2.0 if i recall correctly)... Well at least it's a demonstration in technological advancements from Bandai.
Now.. PG 00, it does lack the usual large mass of intricate details, but the determination of it's PG status is it's 1/60 scale and it's parts count... And the gimmicks. I couldn't warm up to to this PG, and will probably settle for a MG when they make one
Yes.. The interchange-able core block/core fighter for the (non FB) GP01. Forgot to say that mine was the GP01 FB. xD
You forgot to say that the Zaku II 2.0 has two joints in it's figners.. Pretty much like PGs..
Oh ya... Not the best comparison ^^; what I was trying to point was that MG nowadays are reaching PG standards, at times exceeding it (usually in terms of equipment). For example while the Red Frame PG is a gorgeous honk of plastic, the to-be-released MG Red Frame offers much more play value with it's abundance of weapons.. You can't say no to twin Katanas, that's not a limited release ^^
1/100 Overflag didnt have individual fingers, just 3 fixed hands.
Really? I thought it had finger articulation.. As there was one I was playing with O_o .... oh well
Strike is definitely more PG-ish. Just look at those metal plating details and curves.
00 Gundam can't have more panel lines and a more "mechy" look because it belongs a whole different universe, the gundams from 00 series don't have a lot of panel lines like the ones from the wing series or SEED.
BOTH are awesome, and you can't really compare both because they belong to different time lines, and use different technology.
did you paint your model¿?
amazing build
This so much, it's like comparing an orange to an apple and ask "WHICH IS TASTIER". :|a Each kit will appeal to different people, and each kit have their own plus and minus.
I like both of them, where PG Strike is my 1st PG.
00 gundam is one of the great PG with all the new technique install...
But can't denny as the PG Strike having the option to show the inner parts but 00 Gundam can't, all fully cover...
yup! i agree with that "^______,^"
