My first gundam! =D
its a MG strike gundam with IWSP
i think i overdid the weathering=3
i changed the colour schemes by painting the grey parts into x10 gunmetal colour. also his v shaped thing on the face has been painted gaiacolour yellow.
CnC greatly appreciated!

I think the weathering is fine in the shot though a few more photos would be great. ;)
Does this kit come with its own action base?
Nice try man. It looks like you tried to damage with a lighter? I don't think you should do that next time because it's really uncontrollable and looks strange. One tip on weathering... Corners, edges, etc. Don't weather random areas of the armor, you should instead weather the edges and such because that's where dirt and such really accumulates. The dry brushing... brush strokes as weathering = no no. Just take it easy and go lightly on the corners. Good try man! I probably wouldn't have had the balls to do this on my first gundam, which by the way was a strike iwsp.
if youre going to experiment on anything on a kit, i would suggest on grabbing a cheap hg and try it on there.
@ Dekamastah thanks! this gundam came with the black crane looking thing that attaches to the back of its waist. However, the round thing he is standing on in the picture is just a container for my watch.
@Deku i agree!>< i should have weathered the edges and not go ballistic everywhere.. I didnt try to damage with a lighter tho.
@wolfman-X yeap in fact im getting one to practice enamel washing soon=)
I see. So it really does come with its own display base. Anyways, I'd like to see more shots of this one especially in action poses. Actually I'm thinking of getting a Strike E + IWSP myself and I'm checking out if its really good.
Just finished building a MG Strike-E + IWSP sunday night. Im really pleased with it, a very nice model that has some great shelf presence:)
Nice job on it
@ Rensho agreed this thing is pretty badass =D
