First time to build an action doll resin kit.
Excellent quality as expected from Volks.

There were countless parts to be painted. Luckily, I have those gundam markers which are very useful for painting resin kits. Also, super glue or cement is necessary.
Decided to paint the pantsu black+pink since the original color which is white is too plain.
And regarding her eye brows, they’re not the supplied waterslide decal but I drew them using a black gundam marker paneling pen. Horrible but not too noticeable.

I'm too lazy to wash all those parts. Comparing between Kenshin and Ran, the latter is much easier. I think Kenshin has more parts than Ran.

Yes, you have to wash it in soap to get rid of mold release agent, otherwise the paint will not adhere properly to the surfaces. I was also contemplating on getting both kits but was unsure if it was a complete kit or I still had to buy stock parts to get a complete figure. is it a complete kit?

is that the reason why you stopped posting the progress anymore?

regretfully....yes. And that being my first doing the resin kit, I learned the hardway...hard to fit the parts in...
But I hide the kit in a safe place for future use. If I aquire skills.
