Homemade Dango Daikazoku
Well... maybe not the whole dango daikazoku, but 1 Dango anyway.
I decided to get the things i needed today and make one. I may try and make a whole family of them but i'd have to get better at stitching first. Its only just about held together and the stitches look terrible (Note- I've never stitched anything before), but at least it looks semi-like a dango!
Total cost for all the bits to make it £4
I decided rather than leaving one side blank, i've given it 2 different faces.
I just wish they sold them so i could get ones that look a bit more professional

Hey, you're doing well! Though maybe I can give you a little bit of advice for when you make the rest of the "family members"?
Knowing that you have some cloth, it might be better if you put the right sides facing each other, stitch three of the edges together, then turn the piece inside-out. This hides the stitching along the first three sides and makes it look neat.
Put the stuffing in through the final open edge, then try to stitch it closed very neatly. For this last side I recommend making very small stitches; patience is the key so it looks nice and neat when it's done.
Next time you make plushies, you might want to look for felt cloth in your area. It's sturdy and won't need to be hemmed because the material doesn't fray.
It occurs to me that I probably have enough stray material lying around my flat for a demonstration piece, hmm, what shall I make? :D
Anyway, once again, good job! this Dango Daikazoku is really quite cute :) hope to see the rest soon!
Thanks for all the advice, will probably attempt another in the next few weeks so I'll see how it turns out!
