Snow hits England once again.

So i just got back from College after being told that it was open this morning then being sent home.
When i got to College, i found that only 3 of us from my class came in. (We all live in the same town).
So came back and found out how much snow had actually fallen since i left for college.
It must have been only 3-5cm when i left the house. Came back and it was like 2 inches! in 1 and a half hours!!
well heres some photos of how apparently serious it is.

It's not as bad as February 2 last year. My wife was able to come to work and my boy's school is open today. The snow hasn't fallen thickly in south west London.
Hang on, I stand corrected, it's been snowing non-stop from 0600-1800, we have about 10-12 inches max here in Carshalton. I have to go back to work tomorrow night but the premise of additional pay (half of my pay for the day) gives more than enough reason to go to work.
I'm at my main home now and it snowed quite a lot yesterday. There's at least a foot of snow on the hedges. Apparently there was meant to be more today but it's really sunny now.
I live in the North West, and the snows still realy deep up here. I may be stuck at my grilfriends house for the next few days if it doesn't clear up soon. Not that I'm complaing, I get to miss work :P
Woo, North West! I'm from Manchester but I live in Yorkshire.
I've lived with a guy from Preston for 2 years and only a few months ago I found out it was in the North West. I always thought it was down south, which is pretty stupid of me because he doesn't have a southern accent.
*sigh* I WANT SNOW , I don't care how terrible it is . I just Want SNOW !!!!
You are'nt the only one, man. Only snow we have here's in snow city.
We got lots here you're welcome to! :)
It's been really quite bad here in Oxford, it's the first time this Winter we've had any. It started yesterday afternoon and hasn't really stopped since. It's about a foot deep right now ^^; (There's a pic or two on my deviantART btw :P)
I just came home from work, didn't want to get stuck there. The snow around my area isn't too bad though, good time to take pretty pictures! Hope it stays until the weekend so I can go out with a camera.
We've had very little snow in comparison to the rest of the UK down in the South-East (Norfolk to be exact) which I'm grateful for, but it did try and snow a little earlier. While it makes for good pictures I personally would prefer being able to drive on roads without risking my life more than normal lol.
Yoooo cookie how ya been (guy from the london expo). Feel bad about how you went to college and then had to go home right after being told it was close. You should have checked your college site in the morning that what I did.
Yo dude. I did check. They said it was open. It only started to chuck it down with snow when i got to college. It wasn't snowing when i left home.
The tree looks really pretty. *-* Supposed to have a huge amount of snow tonight here.
Now this is amazing. A satellite picture of the UK right now...
