1/100 Master Grade Gundam Astray Red Frame Kai...
Pretty much using up 90% of Blue Frame 2nd Revise's runners... But it's Red Frame for the count! I've had it POed just a couple of days ago... :D
Featuring dual Gerbera Straights and Tactical Arms that transforms into a bow FTW! :D
Sword form basically the same as Tactical Arms II from Blue Frame 2nd Revise, with a slightly different parts on the hilt and sword body...
Flight mode looks a little strange, tho... I think Red Frame will look better grabbing the flying Tactical Arms from underneath ala the anime OVA (Where Red Frame grabs the hovering M1 Pack by hand...) released years ago... ^_~
1/100 Master Grade Unicorn Gundam OVA SP (Tentative)...
Basically the very same Unicorn from its KA version a year ago...
Supposedly the new leg armour sculpt allows wider knee articulations...
Nothing much is fixed at all from what I see... Unicorn still can't bend its legs properly... That obstructive leg armour at the knee pit!
The detailed Hangar Cage is totally poison tho! Totally want!
Altho I've been meaning to get a second Unicorn so I can display its dual modes respectively, I'll hold onto my horses for now... ^^;
lol people expected the 2nd release of unicorn to have the knee joint fixed with no avail. kinda disappointing for those who were waiting on a change
does anyone got any news that this kit comes with it's original Astray back pack? back pack that hold two beam saber
Unlikely... But you can easily mod using the 1/100 version and the special add on connector packs from the BF2R's initial release that allows you to dock 1/100 backpacks onto an MG...
I prefer the original astray back pack, just POed this kit, and I'm gonna repaint the tactical arm into blue and gave it to Blue Frame...Blue Frame with two tactical arms, that's gonna be cool...and the Red Frame I'm just gonna pose it with dual Gerbera Straights and a modified back pack from the NG 1/100
well I don't know about you guys, but why don't you change it into it's flight mode.. It's different with the blue frame ver..
I think it's kinda ironic to see how even Bandai has problems with the Unicorn in its official photos. Namely, the shoulder armor that even they can't get right, the flopping knee armor and the back skirts that have no lock to keep them open.
Even they can't do it right. It's possible to get it in place with some effort though.

its just that the stickers size is bigger than the applied area, no problem with it if decals are used or just some cutting on the clear parts. nope, not fail, just lazy.
I said fail because they built an model to show , if the model was home built or something like this no problem, but it's to show the improvements of the new model xD

Seriously the rants are endless.. This isn't a 2.0 and just Bandai milking the Unicorn, they changed the head, v fin and leg armor that's about it. Added the MS cage and voila instant money with little cost..
And this won't be released until March, the preview shots could differ from the release product..
kinda reminds me of that episode of the simpsons where lisa gets her own doll line to beat the competiton, and all those guys had to do to grab sales was to add a hat

i only going to buy this Unicorn with one condition, must have the dual gatlings, the Red frame looks amazing IMO a must have, of course i would prefer a flight pack but the tactical arms is good for me too

Well, maybe I will use an extra connector got from Blue Frame, I will give astray the strike aile part.. Then he will get the 2 beam sabers and 2 katanas.. nice..
it seems that the holder for the sword sheet is connected the with the ball joint-socket use for the armor schneider
Looks like Red Frame Kai will be amongst the second batch of MG clear runner campaign, just like Victory... ^_^
If ever I get the MG red Frame. I plan to give one of the gerbara straight to the blue frame. :D
