Orange MG Victory
Behold, my rush job of a MG Victory!
I tried a few new things out on this kit, most didn't work out as well as I would've liked. I do like the frosted look you get from applying a dull coat over the special clear parts.
If you're interested in my review of the kit, or what I did and how it worked out, please check out my write up, http://otakurevolution.com/content/bandai-mg-victory-gundam-ver-ka-review
And sorry the pictures are rather boring. The Victory isn't exactly the most poseable. It's small size and weak joints make me feel like I'm messing with something way too fragile. Even still, the more I look at the pictures the more I realize I did a shit job at posing him lol

Since it's such a small kit, next to a PG MK-II for kicks.

Really like the frosted look on the clear parts, makes it look like Ice. Maybe if you used light/pale blue instead of orange, you'd have a cold-climate type...
Really like what you've done. Great job!
I try to imagine my Victory is from Lego Ice Planet
What brand of clear orange did you use?
Tamiya's orange
Dang, that's no "shit job"! It looks great, especially the kind of orange you picked. The forsty clear parts just piles onto the awesome.
Thanks!
Love that color scheme. Godamn..
Born of cheapness really, since I had a lot of extra orange laying around. When I was planning out the scheme there was some concern based on the line art, but you can never really tell till it's all said and done.
Good job ! Nice color scheme too , I will build mine with the decals, but your looks pretty good even without it.
Nice color scheme and it is painted really well.. ^_^
the color scheme looks like a Mirai-styled V gundam..
The orange scheme coupled with the HEXA head makes it look like a training machine. :)
I was thinking of trying to get some decals that ran that way, but I figured it'd be too much for the small guy.
The clear parts look awesome XD So does the rest of it XDD Maybe If you painted the clear parts on the body clear orange it would look cooler :]
