An overview of my room from the top back corner looking down. The desk happens to be clean here since I was dusting it.

However, it usually looks like it does presently, as you see in the pic above.

Mouseover = load notes.
Hikaru Kazushime's OTACOOL Room

This is what you see if you turned 180 degrees from the pictures above. You can see my futon, Rei, Shana, and Konata pillows, more shelves and figures. You also see this angle when walking in the room.

Mouseover = load notes.
Hikaru Kazushime's OTACOOL Room

And if you were to look to the right of the desk and bed, you will see my closet door, surrounded by my two larger bookshelves, packed with manga, artbooks, and figures.

Mouseover = load notes.
Hikaru Kazushime's OTACOOL Room

This is to the left of the photo above, where you can see more of my other shelves and bookshelf, all of which reside in the entrance way behind my desk. You can kind of see the door to my room on the right.

Mouseover = load notes.
Hikaru Kazushime's OTACOOL Room

From any point in the room, if you were to look up, you would see my ceiling in the pic above! Believe it or not, there are over 600+ posters, and nearly zero white from the walls! That's how tedious and meticulous I am.

Mouseover = load notes.
Hikaru Kazushime's OTACOOL Room

I'm so nuts about posters, even the inside of my closet has them!

Mouseover = load notes.
Hikaru Kazushime's OTACOOL Room

And before we end the tour, here's a pic of 2 of my 12 shelves, here you can see how I've skillfully placed them on the wall without harming the posters.

Mouseover = load notes.

And now the tour ends with a picture of the door to my room.

Thanks for checking out my OTACOOL room!

      Wall scrolls and larger ones bought individually, most of the small ones, and 8x10 ones were mostly all cut-outs from tons of magazines that were all collected over the years. It was very difficult and kind of insane putting them all up. Plus I'm very picky and meticulous about where they go. XD

        Also, just to add, I always "strip" my wall scrolls, meaning I take the bars off and trim them so they fit into the wall collage better.

      Thx, and about getting more posters, many people ask this question. The answer, is that I usually tend to seek new posters when getting tired of a certain one, or, when I happen upon a new one that I like, I take measures to replace them with old ones of the same size. :D So, it is actually possible to have more posters. I also made sure to have ones I really like, and ones I could let go if I find one I like better. ^_^

        Nice! Was just wondering since, yeah, you really manage to get all of the posters to fit nicely. Btw, how do you affix all of your posters? Tape, or perhaps Blu Tack (or something similar)?

          I basically work very slowly with each one, straightening them with my fingers as I slowly tape and tack them. Most larger ones have tape. Bigger ones have tacks.

      Actually, we just moved, and we own the place we have right now. When we moved, I had to spend 3 whole days with an artist knife (exacto, Xacto? SP?) going around thin pieces of tape while gently pulling out tacks. Believe it or not, they are easily removable, I have built the walls that way.
