Repackaging Figures

Posted by lost_eden [www]

Anybody ever come across problems when trying to put figures back *into* their boxes? I always find it a nightmare figuring out (no pun intended!) which part goes where in the 3D jigsaw puzzle.

But GSC Unity May here provided me with a more annoying problem - she physically won't fit back into her packaging!

And here is the problem - she attaches to her base via this metal prong in her left foot. It comes as a separate piece & you have to put it in when you assemble her, but once it's in it's virtually impossible to remove!

With the metal prong in her foot, it sticks out of the plastic part of the packaging, so she won't fit in!

I've had to resort to wrapping her in tissue paper & storing her separately >.< This is my huge pile o' HLJ boxes, where all my figures are living until I get a proper display cabinet. The huge one at the bottom is for Alter's 1/7 Feito~

Im going through this right now too :[ Ill be moving into my own place soon and have to transport over 60 gundam models and 30+ figures. I can be lazy and just put them inside a box but im sure the paint is going to chip off. So I had to buy 50 bucks worth of that rolled up cusion paper ? and boxes. Expensive, but my collection is more expensive. Glad I kept most of the boxes.
