Hi, Eepy here. I'm a bit new to this hobby but I've always been interested in photographing them. I recently got a figure (VERY LATE TO GETTING IT) I've been wanting for awhile and took some photos. I hope to improve with the feedback anyone has to offer!
Also new to the community, so hello!

This is the figure you recently got ??? Man, how much did you get her for ? She is extremely rare and cost quite alot O.O
$189 off eBay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320450119093&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT
... I got some new year's money haha
That's quite a figure to start a collection my friend!! great photos !
Welcome man. Beautiful figure, It looks to me like you have a pretty good handle on things photography wise.
As for feedback on the pictures. The lighting is well done, but the focus seems kind of soft. Of course its a soft character, so its not a deal breaker. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if you said you meant it that way.
It was unintended, so thanks for the crit- I'll remember to use manual focus next time around, or play with autofocus more.
Manual focus on this spot, maybe with a slightly deeper field.
Ah, thanks- Noted.
Wonderful photo shoot.
Thanks, Max.
It would be nice if there is a tutorial around for removing little scuff marks like these. :(
Q TIP TIME
Can always 'fix' it in photoshop using the clone tool. Sadly, only work on the pictures...not on the figure =P
Very nice, and welcome to the community.
Oh damn. Nice figure. I couldn't bring myself to spend that much on a figure. I know a lot of people want her, but can't afford it. (Yet, for some reason, they can afford multiple nendoroids every month... I sometimes can't understand otaku logic. I guess, they don't believe in the "less is more" statement.)
At any rate, Nice photos. I'm not a photographer myself, so I think all the photos look good actually. :D
How I wish there is a Figma version of Kureha, she's just too gorgeous!
Welcome comrade!
I also wish for a figma of Kureha, also a figma Xecty and Blanc Neige.
Cast-off figures are the best for photoshoots! XD
really love your lighting eppn.. what did you use for for the lighting?
http://aznunit.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/IMG_74451-512x341.jpg < This here is the lightbox of mine I built using vellum, poster board, glue, and wood sticks. The lighting is the same minus the top lamp.
good subject choice! she is a very prized figure! pics look good to me not to bright it has a good mood ^^
Hi there and welcome to Figure.fm! ^^
Nice job with those pictures. The 2nd picture is my fav.
Damn I don't want to spend close to $200 for her. She is very lovely though. She has been on my wishlist for a very long time. I doubt Max Factory will ever re-release her.
I spotted some listings on eBay for $140 or so.
I think you did a really good job! I'd love to get into photographing my figures too!
Welcome to the community. Nice photo you got there. What camera you use?
I use a Canon XTi. Outside of the states it is called the 400D.
A very good job on the photo's indeed! Keep up the good work =]
I love all my figures, but I'd have to say Max Factory's Kureha is still my favourite. She's simply stunning. I also paid a pretty penny for the one I bought too since she's so rare. =^_^=
Beautiful shooting ! This figure is really great, and so hard to find now ! Congratulation for her purchase !
Very nice on getting the figure and on the photo shoot! Both look amazing!!
I wished i had gotten her when i could! >_< very nice photots!
