Otacool 2 mascots

Ok, so I dunno if this is allowed, but I made two mascots that go together!
I am much better at designing Chibi than full size characters. So I've included some chibi stuff and extra sketches in the post. I would rather submit a chibi character, but I did both because I do not know what Otacool would like. :)
The outfits are designed to complement each other and go for the opposite "ying and yang" kind of look without being entirely the same. I hope the colors are interesting and fun looking~

Here is a very silly background story to them:
"OTA COOL" fans accessory:
They both carry fans that picture a globe to symbolize the world coming together through Otaku culture.The red strings are to symbolize the promise that they share to carry out this duty with cuteness and cool. <3 When the fans come together, you of course see the word "Otacool".

So I haven't really settled on names yet. For some reason "Mari" and "Holly" keep popping up in my mind.
But those aren't really related names...so I am gonna leave them as a place holder if anything.
Personalities are still blossoming. But I have a few ideas. :)
"Mari-" (The girl with the spin in her Hair ---> @ and black outfit)
Very outspoken and friendly. She likes to collect figures and love video games!
Favorite earth food: Apples
Also like Decora fashion.

Shyer of the two sisters, but when she is in costume, she is a new person!
Favorite earth food: Macaroni and cheese.
Likes cosplay and is interested in the Gothic Lolita fashion style.
