Alternate Saber Lily from GSC
It looks like Good Smile Company will be releasing an alternate version of their beloved Saber Lily figure. The new figure features a few relatively minor differences to the original that nevertheless create a distinct enough appeal that this will surely be a popular item.
This version of Saber Lily has no armour, a calmer expression and a red version of the same base the Distant Avalon figure stood upon, but perhaps the most appealing new feature for a lot of people will be that Saber's sheath is no longer floating - she's holding in right in her hand, so there's no need for a little rod to hold it in.
According to the Good Smile website [direct link to page here], this new Saber Lily will cost 9000 yen and is expected to release in October, with pre-orders taking place on the Good Smile online store from the 8th to 13th of February. Good Smile's online store only ships to Japanese addresses, so if you're interested it might be time to talk to your favourite proxy service.

Yeah, but you could try a proxy like Tenso. Worked for me last time.

Time to turn to Goody-Japan! ...if not for the fact that I have no interest in this figure.
If I had a choice, I'd pick the full armor version, but I already have the Figma, and that's enough for me.
Between this and the full armour version, I'd take the armour... but I'd wish that she was holding the sheath instead of having the floating one. None of that matters though, since I'll be waiting for GSC's upcoming "regular" Saber instead. I love the more dynamic pose.
agreed. while her dress is beautiful, it looks pretty boring with the armor.

Man... GSC & Type-Moon really know how to squeeze money out of Saber fans... I wasn't gonna get this, especially if it's an exclusive, but if it isn't... Damn...

It does... but I mean it is different enough to warrant some difference... Argh! I do wish they did a different pose though.
I dun really like her...he pose is rather the same from distant alavon, her face looks wierd (to me). I feel that a more elegant (non fighting pose would be more suitable for this costume =/.

They are coming out with this alternate ver. but I'm already starting to lose interest in my armor ver. I shouldn't have bought her on impulse. I feel like I want to sell her off, but then again why did I even bother to buy her in the first place.
I really like the sheer underskirt. She looks very feminine... well, except for Excalibur in her hand xD But she still looks very lovely to me *o*
Why no black trim here when it's all around the rest of the bottom of the shirt? It just looks weird this way. . . *is irked*

Oh man, I'm going to end up with all 3 Saber's from GSC this summer. Already own the armored Saber Lily, going to order the original blue one fit one, and just placed an order through a proxy service I've always used for this one.
