My 1/100 MG Strike Freedom Full Burst Mode
Okay, so I finally got some time to put together some more photoshots of my SF kit. Why the SF? Why not? Been busy buidling a couple of decks, and with urgent rush projects at work over the last 2 weekends, so hopefully I'm not too late with this entry for the "gundamgiveaway" contest. Anyways, I don't have a fancy digital SLR camera yet, so I've only been taking photos with my 7.1MP Sony digital camera. The autofocus and over saturation is atrocious, but I had to make due and compensate with some lighting.
Another thing you'll notice is the lack of variation of poses. Well, to be honest, I did break one of the knee joints in its right leg while I was assembling it. So its mobility has been somewhat compromised. The problem was because of the coat of chrome gold paint that came with the knee parts, the hole size for the upper thigh to snap into place did not fit. I should have trimmed the hole to make it bigger, but once it was snapped in, the joint was super stiff. When I tried bending the knee, I heard a sound that no model kit builder would ever want to hear. The SF has two joints on the upper side the knee, the front and the back. The front is the bigger fo the two joints, and it survived, but the back side completely snapped off.
So be warned, if you're building a SF Full Burst Mode Kit, you should consider widening the knee joints' holes before snapping on the upper thigh. It'll save you a lot of headaches. I'll have to find some time later on to disassemble the right leg and apply some super glue to the knee. Hope you like them.

Strike Freedom Full Burst Mode in all its glory. I replaced the original blue transparent base because when I placed below it inside a glass cabinet, it casted a huge shadow on the figures beneath it.

Aside from the standard over-kill-super-in-your-face-pwnage stances that's commonly used (see above), I preferred the dual blade dynamic stances better. It kind of gives it more life.

I slight variation of the same pose, but with the wings expanded a bit further. Wait, where are the Super-Dragoon units? They're probably somewhere out there killing off a certain crybaby Shin.

The Super-Dragoon units have finished their job and returned all accounted for.

As mentioned earlier, I had this thing in a glass display cabinet.

At night time, with the cabinet's lights turned on.

An angled shot always gives the subjet a bit more depth.

Nice display cabinet setting! ^_^
Angled shot are the best, as you can see from most of my gallery...
Dude that things looks sweet in that cabinet, great job:D
Detolf from Ikea? And wow... Strike freedom's a cabinet whore~ Great angles for both the lighting and pictures.
Yep, Detolf from Ikea. They seem to be quite popular for displaying figures and model kits.
So badass...
there will be one more bad thing happen soon to your MG SF FB is the holder for the DRAGOON weapon will fall down.. anyway.. good job..
Congrat on finishing it, it look really nice. If you live in an area with hot temperature, you might want to consider putting the dragroon back on the wing since the holder will fall down really soon =(
Great work. I really like Strike Freedom models.
