Mikatan just updated her Blog with images of the upcoming 1/7 scale Saber ~The Promised Sword of Victory Excalibur~ ^^
Best part, the Excalibur will also come with the "Hammer of The Wind King Ver." of it ^^

Wow, lovely.
Just wow. I thought Saber Lily was the end all, be all Saber that I would ever buy. But she's in her signature outfit. So it's okay for me to have another Saber. Yeah, I'll feel less guilty pre ordering her when I think of it that way.
This looks better and better every time I see it. I'm guessing it's a while off release but I hope they at least open pre-orders soon. Must get.

You know what? I might actually pick this one up... Love the pose, expression and especially the sword with the invisible air.
Though I think it would have been more accurate if the entire sword was clear, without the color tints.
Nah, if you want it to be 100% accurate, she'd be holding nothing.

Don't worry, GSC won't make such mistake :p I'm sure you just can't see the other peg due to angle
There have been enough photos of this figure already from enough different angles that I feel pretty confident in saying that there's only one peg. For example, look at the second pic posted here: you can see the entire base and there's clearly only one peg.
GSC has done the same with their upcoming Canaan figures. Maybe they've figure out a way of making it work with only one peg - the right kind of material to use or whatever. I hope they know what they're doing, at least.

This would be in her face, if the metal tassles were missing. Wouldn't that make for an odd figure?
Any idea of how much this one is going to be and the release date? I fell very tempted to get it after missing the previous Saber Lily from GSC. However, seeing the figure appears to be standing thanks to ONE mere peg most probably it will sag in no time...
I remember ogling at the pics of the unpainted version and now the pre-orders are finally going to start! Hopefully I can get it from Amami, their pre-orders seem to sell out extremely fast.
So GSC is competing against Alter for the place of the most money-sucking company. Wait, no, GSC is the Metroid of anime merchandise.
At this rate I'm going to have to rely on my bank account for the cash for this. Crapshoot.

I wonder if that's the final version...? I really like everything about this figure except the leg pegs. Pegs that stick out randomly really bug me. Unfortunately, it's a "flaw" my eyes gravitate to. It's the whole reason I refused to buy Alter's recent Fate figure. I've been waiting for an awesome Saber figure in her usual armour, but I think I'll have to pass on this one if they keep the pegs as they are. Such a shame since everything else is awesome. Surely they can disguise it somehow instead of blatent, gold-coloured rods sticking out!
