501st Legion - Malaysia Brunei Outpost - Adidas Promotion
During my sightseeing in Malaysia during the Xmas/New Year holidays and visiting of various malls and convention, i was an invited guest to Malaysia's very own 501st Legion Malaysia-Brunei Outpost! Which happens to be a combined effort of Star Wars costumers from Malaysia and Brunei.
We were to help promote the ADIDAS Star Wars merchandise, from shoes to shirts and bobblehead figures. During this activity, i was informed to not wear my SoS Brigade Armband since this was an official 501st Legion troop (I aint a 501st Legion registered member yet .. but that does not mean i should chicken out!)
From this activity i saw behind the scenes stuff, like meeting the fellow Star Wars costumers, seeing their armor designs and other costumer designs and also met two other familiar comrades from Comic Fiesta 2009, Soloman Wise Freeman (Super Shiney Dancing Trooper at CF09) and Chan Yew Mun (the young Anakin Skywalker!)
Another ADIDAS Star Wars promotion was held earlier at Singapore with fellow DC member, Gordon! His Singapore Garrison ended up being on the news, and this time, so did the Malaysia-Brunei Outpost.
Even tho, i did not have my otaku armband with me .. that did not really stop me from doing certain signature moves >_<
Last Min Entry: Sandtroopers can be found all over the world. So don't mistaken this one for Gordon >_< This is a local Sandtrooper of the 501st Legion Malaysia Brunei Outpost =)
