Jowy's first MG build

Posted by DekaMastah [www]

As requested by some of our esteemed community members, I present the Master Grade rendition of the Gundam Strike Noir, built by Jowy.

Straight-up build (I think).

Mouseover = load notes.
Jowy's first MG build
Mouseover = load notes.
Jowy's first MG build

Look at that mean, intense, blood-sucking look on that straight-up built Strike Noir.

Mouseover = load notes.
Jowy's first MG build
Mouseover = load notes.
Jowy's first MG build
Mouseover = load notes.
Jowy's first MG build
Mouseover = load notes.

    Not too shabby, if I do say so myself. The sprues from the runners are a bit visible, maybe a bit of sanding here and there. Not bad at all.

    What's up with the smudge? Is this intentional, or...?

      Looks like a nub mark that caught some dirt on it.

    No painting at all right? I think it looks good without it, if you didn't paint it. I haven't built gunpla in ages, and I never painted them when I did build them. I'm looking at buying an MG force impulse, but I think I'll just do it without the paint. I don't have the time to paint anyways. :D Your Strike Noir looks sexy. :D

    That's my first MG too. I had 2 others before, but I didn't get into Gundam I had until I built this one. I actually had to put something in the wing pegs in order for them to stop slowly falling down when posed vertically.

      My thoughts exactly... This is what's happening to me when I was on a MG kit build rampage XD

    Not bad at all. Could use a little cleanup, but still good nonetheless !
