Pg OO raiser MkII (sligth color change)

Posted by siegmund

hey guys , this is my latest work, the pg oo raiser. It took me around 3 weeks to complete; every thing is painted (frame included). I wanted to use shadowing effect with my airbrush, but sadly, the pen broke so i manually shadow it with gundam marker real touch.

Some slight modification : stiffen the joints around the shoulder and gn drives. I added a little piece of metal to strengtheng the joints of the o raiser wings on the shoulder ( now the wings doesnt go down after a while.

I also extended the legs a little bit. I used plaplates to make the joints that attach the feet and leg, longer. Now it doesnt look like a monkey with huge arms and somehow short legs. plus, i get more movements for the ankles ( better flight poses)

blue parts are painted in dark blue indigo color, but it seems that i cant capture the true color with my camera

Nice build. While I do think personally that the 00 Raiser is an ugly looking gundam, there's no denying that your PG kit is awesome. :D

I really like the colour scheme - the indigo looks perfect on him. Also, great job strengthening the joints of the O Raiser; now the model looks intimidating! Great job.

at first i didn't like the oo raiser desgin, but the perfect grade grew on me.

Can you please show some photos on how you stiffen the shoulder with metal and where do you add the metal part? I have the same problem too. Would like to get some idea.

Thats a great idea to lenghten the leg and feet joint to get a better flight post. Any photos?

    Thanks!

i would love to but i glued the blue armor part, so i cant risk remvoing, but i will try to explain you.

You remember how the gn drive is made right. After the black part that connect to the backpack, you have 2 blue pieces. the first blue piece, and the second one that carries the gn drive.
on the one that carries the drive, there is a rectangular peg like at the top of that piece that connect to the first blue part.
Normaly it should prenvent the drives to fall down but with wings its another story. What you do is simple but it depends on what you have. you just extend the little rectangle so that it gets stuck stiffly. In my case i sanded the rectangle a little bit and glued + putty a little metal. Now when i connect it the little metal is somehow stuck.

Now if you wanna check out more flight poses, here s my link to bakuc online.

      hope it helped you
