DD Mai

I also think she looks fine. In fact, she looks lovely, especially the hair!

I've always thought Mai had a lovely sculpt! She has a very cute and soft expression~

However, I think what many people dislike about Mai is her outfit. Or rather, her body /in/ that outfit. XD I'm sure you've heard the term "baba butt" being thrown around a few times.

I'm not a fan of voluptuous DDs myself, but I would love to have Mai and dress her in casual clothing!

With all due respect, Mai's sculpt was lovely. And the fact that they brought her out as a DDDy, pretty much made her an even better one. As a package however, the clothes in particular, I think could have been executed better. Personally, Mai would have been a nice addition to the family, but aside from the lack of funds, I have a different daughter I have my sights on, Moe-chan.

I think a lot of people like Mai as an individual sculpt, but as the whole package, she was fail. The DDY body looked awful in Mais outfit and ruined the whole thing.

This particular shot looks very good, no doubt about it. I remember commenting about how Mai looked good from certain angles, from the side, direct head shot didn't do it for me.

But to be honest here, popular Dollfie Dream are popular because the entire package is good. Sasara and Saber Alter are like that. Volks made several mistakes in designing her overall package and it hurts her overall appeal. I don't mind changing clothes once in a while but if I "have to" change her appearance because her default package is "too awful to look at", then it's a problem. I think the fact that there were left over after the AE lottery speak volumes about how the community as a whole look at the offerings from Dolpa 22.

Wow, I like her SO much better in this wig than in her default! Since her features are rather "sharp" and aggressive, the contrast with this softer hair works wonderfully.

mai is definitely a pretty girl no doubt about that. but yea, i agree with everyone on the whole default package part.

The overall impression of the whole package was the problem.. Hey I called her a Babba Butt.. and I meant it. Her face up, and face sculpt it quite alright in my opinion, but the general poorly done Mai that they presented was exactly that.. Poorly done. I've seen her out of that loin cloth. and like the above picture she looks great.

But, doesn't change my opinion from before.. I wouldn't buy the dollfie, I'd just go find her head.

I thought Mai was gorgeous personally. And while people did refer to her as "babba butt" I saw she had a lot of potential. I would have adopted her myself if I had the funds to do so. Her default doesn't matter to me, since I don't keep them in it for long.

Seen lots of lovely Mai photos. Sure there are many happy parents that are glad to have her.

I like her, she's really cute. Hey she even wasn't bad as her original package to me. Babba butt just doesn't seem like a right thing to call her by.

I like DD Mai much better in different clothes and wig, her default outfit did not look flattering to me on the DDdy body.

I think Mai is pretty. I like her default outfit too. Most likely I would have her now if buying a sports car this summer didn't nearly break my back.....twas worth it though.
