White Album Dollfie Dream and Symmetrical Docking
The Super Early Pre-Order period for the White Album Dollfie Dream has finally begun today! And I have obviously completed the preliminary adoption paperwork to bring my 11th daughter Rina, and 12th daughter Yuki home. I have done something unique this time though. This is the first time I am committing to bring new daughters home before seeing their faces. Why would I do that? Am I crazy or something? Well no, it’s all very well calculated, for one, I have already determined to take one of the most elegant bishoujo in recent years -- Ogata Rina home, that’s a given, she needed a proper representation in my harem lineup. And Yuki, pretty much serve the function to that of Nanoha for Fate; I have to pick her up to keep Rina company~
The other purpose, is of course to ensure that Rina would have a color matched partner to perform their Cho-Henshin!
The term Symmetrical Docking is, in contrast to popular believe, a borrowed term from the hot blood super robot show, The King of Braves -- GaoGaiGar. Symmetrical Docking can only be performed when the “SympaRate”, a measure of the synchronization and unity of the blue robot - HyoRyu and the red robot -- EnRyu reaches 100%, the result of their Symmetrical Docked form, also known as Cho Ryu Jin, serves a much greater purpose than what they could ever achieve individually. The same criteria applies to my Rina and Yuki, and their combined form would certainly come in handy in the Dollfie Dream Theater as well.
Now, keep in mind that these pre-order bonus are only available for those of us who are willing to put our order in before seeing the final product, as a reward. Volks has no plan to reveal the final product until the 2nd pre-order period, which doesn’t come with the bonus. But in any event, the actual transaction do not take place until mid-March, which means there is still a chance to cancel the order if the final product do not meet your expectation.
There are also some very lovely casual outfits for Rina and Yuki, some preview pictures are available at the Sumika Times Blog. The Yuki dress and boots is my personal favorite among the 3 sets. I am not sure why they are giving Rina those pink boots because she has never wore pink boots within the anime!

I think I'm gonna pre-order both Yuki and Rina since they will accept cancellations anyways... and if I like them I get a free swimsuit, sounds like the best plan for me.
There is no valid reason to not go for the super early pre-order, it's actually the smartest way to handle this. They accept partial cancellation, or they might make you cancel the whole thing and re-order. In any event, the decision can be made at mid-February when they release the full product info.
haha but ordering 2 dds at one is hard on the wallet... normally I would just pic my favorite, but I also feel its kinda wrong to separate Yuki and Rina >_<

Lol. True. I'm totally sold on rina since I like her design and I like all the clothing so any cancelation for me would only be the yuki dd if I don't like the sculpt . Ah decisions desions but I think buying both is a tad excessive. But I do think they'd look great as pair which is why I am considering yuki still

I'm not sure still, I was tempted by the clothing set's boots ^^; I'm just a bit worried that the face will make me want to jump in :P and I don't want to buy the whole set just for the head o_o

Well, that's what I tell people, it's almost to the point of silliness to "wait" for the right one because once you're on the boat, you're going to want the previous ones. And the process to acquire back-dated DD is the most painful process I have come to know, and it's known to inflict severe damage to your wallet.

I am going to Max Factory and demand them at gunpoint to make figmas of Yuki and Rina. Lovely as Dollfies are, there's no way in hell I'd have the space, the fund, or the guts to buy one, let alone two of them.

Actually I lost my job and don't have the money for any of them -_- I'm wondering If I should indebt myself to buy one of them -_- It would be a dream If I could order the 2 of them I love both Rina and Yuki and reaaaaalllyyy don't know wich one to choose XD

Oh come on, this is one of the few chances you can get DD from top head mold designers without having to go through the painful lottery process, why the hesitation?!
I got frustrated losing Natsuki on Yahoo Japan that I preordered Rina. Although I don't know much about the game and anime, the character seems to be very charming. I hope her face is as beautiful as Natsuki, Rin and Sasara. This will be my first and only dollfie I will own. I am sacrificing not buying the upcoming Hot Toys 1/6 action figures, but I promised myself to adopt a dollfie dream this year.
Can't wait to see Rina's face, better be worth the wait.
I don't think you have too much to worry about, Natsuki and Rina have the same head mold designer, and if anything, the same quality should be there no doubt. Out of my entire family of daughters, many of them are from this designer as well.
I would recommend you to watch White Album to know about your future daughter better.
I've pre-ordered Yuki, If I don't find a job meanwhile I will cancel her :(
