Otaku Cook 01-21-10

Losing some steam here ^^; although still cooking everyday, dishes tend to recycle and I do not want to bore everyone. Today however we have stewed vegetables, carrot, lotus root, snap pea, and Edo root. With a slight salted taste they make a healthy snack accompanied by a cup of Genmai-cha or green tea with roasted brown rice. I also seem to be preoccupied with my Christmas present. Working hard on the face up and outfit, hope to introduce her soon ^^

I haven't heard of edo root before. Is it the same as water chestnuts?
And I can't wait to see what your dollfie will look like.

thank you! hope she will turn out decent. The other name for edo root is taro root,it is more like a starchy potato type.
