Hatix's Room
It took a while, but here it is, my updated room.
- Name (or nick name): Peter aka Hatix
- Age: 27
- How many years you have been an otaku: hmm, I watched Dragon Ball, Saint Seiya and sentai series on french TV when I was 7, but it wasn't until they started broadcasting Dragonball Z on flemish TV that I started to watch again and started to get more into other anime as well. So the answer is 20 or 7 years ago :-)
- Nationality: Belgium (Flemish part)
- Outline of your collection: about 40 manga, 7 art books, about 40-50 dvds, about 12 anime-related cds, about 15 anime magazines (mostly ones I bought in Japan), (only) 7 scale figures, 8 nendoroids, 2 figmas, 23 gachapon, about 8 anime-related t-shirts, some posters, 7 big anime bags, 14 ayupan, 1 dakimakura, and 1 Totoro plushie ;p
It's not really otaku, but my Ayumi Hamasaki collection is quite big: 12 albums, 20 singles, 14 concert dvds, 8 vinyl records, 3 uchiwa (light fans), several phone straps, about 8 towels, about 7 posters and the 14 ayupan mentioned above ^^ (I'm kind of a big fan, been to a concert 4 times now).
- How much your collection cost: Hmm, I'd say about 2000euro, but it's probably more, probably double or so. (not counting my Ayu & other jpop stuff ^^; and my 4 trips to Japan...)
- Your fave item: That's a difficult one... maybe the exclusive Haruhi bag (with Haruhi polo shirt ^^) that I got in Akihabara on my first trip to Tokyo in 2006.
- Your website address: http://blog.jpopdb.org/
- Anything else you want to say: I want more scale figures, but I'm so careful with money that I only buy like 1 thing every 2 months or so (even though I could afford more, but I'm trying to pursuade myself ;p). And I would like to have a dollfie or mama chapp doll too ;p
My room is not as full as some of the other fabulous rooms I've seen posted here, but I think it's kinda neat.
Pictures taken with my Canon EOS 450D.

My desk with my shelf with my nendoroids and figmas. (Now including my latest nendoroid: Nagi ^^). I've got a MacBook Pro with Samsung 24" screen attached, and you can just make out my NAS on the bottom left.

Top shelf of my glass cabinet with most of my scale figures (want more...).

Next shelf has all my gachapon and ayupans. Also note the Cafe With Cat mug which I bought at Cafe With Cat in Akihabara ;p.

Full view of my glass cabinet, where you can see also see some of my lord of the rings statues (which came with the extended edition dvds), a scale AE86 and at the bottom some of the stuff that I brought back from my trips to Japan and USA.

My other closet with my DVDs and CDs. (Lots of Ayumi Hamasaki)
And my anime magazine collection and art books (I almost have the full Compu Heroines series, just 1 missing out 9 total ^^)

Some of my other japanese manga and DVDs. (and my old SNES ^^) I've got other english/dutch manga too, but there are put somewhere else.

And the rest of books/magazines and CDs.

My night stand with the gorgeous Shiki, my latest Ayupan, my DS and my Totoro plushie that I got on my last trip to Japan ^-^

And then the final picture with me in it, wearing my favorite Haruhi polo shirt (you can see the logo on it and it has the name of the festival and date on the back ;p), you can also see the bag there against the wall.
The other bags are from Tokyo Anime Fair 2008 (I'm hoping to attend TAF again next year).

Nice dakimakura. ^_^
Nice K-On! poster too. There needs to be more group shots with Azusa. It's usually just the 4, Azusa must feel ronery. T.T
Cut it out of the Megami magazine which I bought on my last trip ;p
The magazine was from just before Azusa was introduced in the anime, which is probably why she's not in it.
Well, at least there's some Sawako-sensei in it ^^
Great room!! I have the same Plush Totoro... is really pretty!!
Why is that Yoko dakimakura on your wall and not next to you anyways? :3 Nice overall set up.
My Miku dakimakura is up on the wall too! I didn't want to spend $20+ on a pillow XD
Very tidy and organized. I like your furniture!
Nice glass display and organization! ^^
I see a Hidamari Sketch bag. Do want! ^^ Now I must search for one!
Huzzah for Flemish part, lols! XD
Nice collection you've got there ;)
Awesome desk is awesome...
