I just finished this commission project recently.

It's a glossy paint job. It was more difficult that I anticipated, but I think it came out pretty nicely.
Visit my blog for my other works.

I use a decent amount of decals but I try not to overdo things.

I personally like this red scheme better.

Painting the back of the shield wasn't easy, but I got it done.

That looks mean :D
Definately using this as inspiration when my PG Strike finally turns up.
That looks really nice, although with word glossy all that came to mind was finger prints...
Lol. Yeah, I think of that too when it comes to phones and glass. But that's not what it's like. Not all glass holds the oil on the surface such as the finish of a car. And to avoid fingerprints on the paint job, just give it sufficient time for the paint to cure.
darn, this is nice! well done! white is the new black ^^
nice work! :D
Great work. How long did it take and how much would you normally charge for a project like this?
This was my first commission which is out of the box plus custom color scheme. I charged 400-450 USD for this so far. Pricing increases as the build gets more complicated. But considering I have to buy the kit and time spent on it, it's not really that much.
Oh, this was a slow work due to school and other priorities. This took 5 months, but it can be done in just 1 month. Luckily, the client wanted me to take my time working on it.
looks great! I love the tiny details you painted. btw was wondering, did you paint the inner side of the eyes gold?
Its really well made. I like the metallic blue you used as well.
Reasonable amount of decal and colour pallet. I like it ^^
That was an awesome paintjob! I especially like your Skygrasper colour scheme too. XD
wow.. another PG Strike.. what a special color scheme.. nice..
ooo.. nice metallic gloss look...
but the blue on the face makes him look like he got blue eyebags and blue beard.. lol XD
Wow nice work, simple yet complicated!
darkage, you have returned! very glossy, a different look from the usual flat finished gunpla. no action pose with the grand slam?
I didn't get many dynamic poses in the previous photoshoot, but I'll do it again later.
The Strike unit has the most versions I've ever seen of any mobile suit
Nice job! I really like this colour scheme.
Nice! From top to bottom there is no undetailed spot.
F it. F for FLAWLESS.
love the color
Loved how it looks cool compared to the original color scheme of Strike...
Beautiful!
It's so purty ^^ I really like the color contrast in general :D
amazing color scheme!!!!
i would love to see the shield in blue ^^ but that's just me.
and i like how the glossy coat comes out, it makes them look more anime-like (everytime that they make a close up on a gundam they shine like hell.)
can you tell me how you did the panel lines?
i paint my models using a brush (:s but i'm planning on getting an airbrush) and games workshop paints, and i don't have gundam markers, so again a fine tip brush.
and after i finish applying the color, it's really hard to follow the panel lines (because they tend to be covered by paint) does this happens to you too?
