1/144 HG Gundam Seravee GNHW/B

Posted by Terrorhunt [www]

Acquired this kit yesterday. Managed to finished it overnight. Not really my favorite MS in terms of design but I bought it out of interest. & for the first time, I've bought a proper Gundam Marker since I used art-type paint marker for most of my Gunplas.

Did minimal paint job for this kit. Don't feel like doing something serious to this kit.

Question to Gunpla collector: Do you treat HG kit something serious like MG kit (or PG to the lesser extent)?

Looks great with those GN Field generator on the shoulder & the side of the leg. At first glance it reminds me of Gundam Virtue. Shame that it didn't include Seraphim with this kit. Note that I equip my Seravee with Seraphim's GN Machine Gun. Truth to be told, I actually prefer that Pew-pew gun more than Seravee's GN Bazooka.

Without a doubt one of the hardest pose I've tried to pull off with this kit, but I did it. ^^;
Never really like the GN Bazooka. I'm very much prefer Virtue's GN Bazooka.

The bigger the mecha/robot, the bigger their weapons. Do you agree?

I'm quite happy with this kit. Kinda wish I took my time when building it.

    I'm pretty sure there are some exceptions, but most of the time the big boys get the big guns.

    And of all the Seravee kits available, I must say that getting the GNHW/B is a good choice to make.

    depends on the MG, newer MGs don't really require that much work so i only do minor painting/detailing on it..^^ for 1/144 HG, i only have the stargazer which doesn't have much detail, so i didn't work on it that much..^^

    most of my Hg i dont take seriously. The only few which i do are the ones i painted, mostly noting the zaku warriors ive painted. But the final HG i took seriously was the alaws Gn - X III since i accidently broke my gn-x ( had a very fragile shoulder joint) These days i try to take care of my MG as much as possible

    I don't buy MGs, too expensive for me. I would want to buy stuff from GSC instead. But I built 2 before though. MG GB01FB (1st Gunpla) and MG Lukas's Strike E (friend's). They definitely amazing but HGs are fine.

    My Reborns Gundam that I bought in Nov is still not finished. A HG takes me a few weeks at least. But Reborns is taking forever...My lastest WIP - http://flawlessexa.wordpress.com/2010/01/17/hg-reborns-gundam-wip-1/
