Mobip Yui Figure Review w/Stop Motion

Today I will be reviewing Mobip Yui Hirasawa from the series K-on.

I decided to make a new intro specially made for these next line of figures I will be doing and I think I may of had a little to much fun making this review^_^ tho it is for my favorite character so the extra time taken to make it was worth it all.
Anyways hope you enjoy the Stop motions I made for this review and the one at the end of the video I made specially for my favorite character in K-on.

Stopmotion intro (6-8fps total of 160 frames) My first real attempt at stop motion.

Stop motion ending (8-14fps total of 446 frames) found my computer was capable of more fps(frames per second) so you'll see more improvement in that one versus the intro.

Whew stop motion sure does take a lot of time but it's pretty fun^_^.

The Guitar for the ending stop motion was played by me tho the ending was a last minute idea I thought I would include since I had some spare time at the end so I tried to learn what I could in a short period of time since this review is about 1 week delayed.

Oh yeah, the ending does play loads better than the opening. You know, if you enjoy animating, you might want to get the Animator's Survival Kit. It's a great book on how to animate regardless of medium.

Yea I started to get more of use to how much I needed to move the figures in each frame and also that I found out I can speed up each frame which allowed more FPS:) I definitely do enjoy animation tho I worked on it mostly on computer programs like 3d studio max but stop motion animation is very fun as well so I may have to check out that guide so thanks for the recommendation.

Thanks! Yea they're pretty fun to make but they take up so much time to make>_<. Oh yea about the figures I'll have to see how much money I have left over once I buy my college tect books on Monday so hopefully my books aren't to expensive this time around.

Nice review, I didnt even notice the metal segments of those pieces before. I just have the figure up on the stand with Gitaa right now. I was pretty happy with this figure until I saw the figma one.
Great job on the stop motion. Makes me want to try some soon. If only I could find some time or get a time stopping machine. My only suggestion might be to use a steadier tripod maybe? Or if you use iMovie turn on the image stabilization option.

Great review, the stop-motion adds to it quite well. It does seem to be a pain that you have to buy all the figures just to collect the entire drum set, though. (not a bad bargain if you're collecting the whole set anyway, I'd think that would even out the cost per girl that way... All in all, not really too bad.)
