Thanks, I made a background, viewable on my deviant, but I like the white and blur effect on the windows better.
Yeah, I think you're right there. The blown out lighting in the window suits better than the background, makes the figures stand out more. Besides, all your rim-lighting on the characters is set for the blown-out light as well, rather than the warm background =P
That said, you draw a nice sky.
