Hi again.
Follow up to my WIP from last year. This will be my first MG I put effort into, still learning lots.
90% complete, busy with them booster rocket things........ can't decide how to paint them? any ideas ?? chrome or gunmetal or black/grey outside? red or yellow or metal inside?? i dont know >,<
Well just need to give it top coat and apply decals!!! but i forgot to get water decals overseas =o= darn,
oh and still need to pretty up the weapons, looking a bit bland.
Most of the white parts are okay, some cleanups might've done wonders on some places but overall it looks okay.
The other parts (black, gold, red) seems to be a bit smudged.. Handpainted?
yeah you are right, need to do clean up :P
had a bad experience with industrial gold spraypaint there.
the underside of that chaest part just needs a cleanup. otherwise youve done a far better job then i have on my MKII. i like the white you used and i absolutely hate painting white
just a few clean up, and your ready for another one....gambatte kudasai...!
Oh thank god!!! Someone did a U.C. and not another damn Exia. Don't get me wrong I love Exia but yeah.... it looks amazing to me. Although the gold pieces look different, hand painted I guess? It looks great man.
ahem....what paint did you use?
IMO the texture still looks coarse, and the gold parts looks too thick >.<
maybe sanding the parts before painting will help ^^
well i guess you're referring to the blue and gold parts. They are industrial spraypaints ahahaha they gold was real problem and i tried to get it all off before i used tamiya gold. didnt work too well.
