Sefer Astraea
Hehe... someone already posted a Twin Drive Astraea, now it's time for...
Sefer Astraea. Basically, it's just a 1/144 Exia with Astraea parts.
I instantly fell in love with the Astraea lineart since I first saw it. I was disappointed that since it's an MSV Gundam, there would be no way it will have a kit. Not until it was announced that there would be conversion parts for the Astraea through Dengeki Hobby. Another bummer for me cuz there was no way I could get my hands on that magazine. But I was lucky to get one for $20 from ebay. I had it delivered to my parents in Guam. When I finally got my hands on it, there was no store in my area selling 00 Gundam kits.
So I had the parts for nearly a year until I found a local website selling kits. I immediately ordered the kit and when it arrived, I started assembling the kit with haste, I even got a cut from my hobby knife.
My pics are of the same pose... the Sefer pack is so goshdarn heavy!
I really don't have an Action Base, so I used a CDR Cakebox, took a thin bamboo stalk and some wire and presto.
Panel lining was done with a permanent marker and eraser.
Used spraypaint to paint it... it still has a long way to go.
The Sefer is totally unpainted.
I was going to use the Astraea's V-Fin but I kinda broke it and super glue is failing on me.

Cool!
I actually went all out and hooted 6 Sefer kits but haven't the mood to build any yet :P
Does it hinder the poseability?
Pretty cool stand you have there ;)
