My personal workspace 2007-now
Here's my personal (mostly in my room) workspace from 2007 (few months after I bought my first PVC figure) till now. Can see my harem *cough* multiplied by quite a big number since then :P
February 2007. Actually this one and 3 pics below were taken for my Nihongo assignment. That time we were asked to make a short description of ourselves. I go ahead and included the pictures of my room that time (since I did include my hobby in the writing).
That's me in the picture btw :P
Echidna is my second PVC figure. Saber there is bootleg btw, and already leaning few weeks after I bought her. In the end, I gave her to my friend.
July 2007. Echidna was in box during this time. This was taken during the time I just unpacked my things to start a new semester.
January 2008. 2008 is the final year of my study. I decided to collect Queens Blade figures after I got Ymir. The idea of stacking racks started around this time. Change my monitor to LCD too.

March 2008. The area started to become more crowded :P
May 2009. I finish my study on May 2008, and move back to my parents house. Since my parents actually don't know, and will not approve my figure-collecting hobby, I have to left majority of my girls to my friend, and only bring back plamos to my parents house. My workspace that time was in the living room ^^;
About 2 months after this picture was taken, I move out from my parents house to area nearer to my office.
September 2009. About 2 months from the day I moved to my current room. Took ths pic after I managed to buy and assemble enough racks to formed the display.
January 2010

I can see myself adding more racks in the future. And maybe move to a bigger room once the figures start overflowing :P
It seems my room will soon be blessed with a similar fate to yours. I didn't unbox all my figures or built all the gunplas I bought, and that is not counting the already increasing population of 1/6 action figures. I got big plans for my room when I fly back home on May 2010.
Hahah maybe afterwards you have to move to bigger room also :P
Hmmm? Health I guess
You have a nice room full of stuff. But too cluttered for my tastes. You should perhaps think of organizing stuff around. :D Yes, and I'm talking about your current pictures (even though they're a huge improvement over your past room.)
Have to arrange them as it is now because I don't really have much space (my current room actually smaller than the hostel room I stayed when I'm still studying;around 50% smaller), and I'm trying to create more space to put my future collection (already got 9 figures on preorder, and 4 figures I want didn't have their preorders opened yet)

Actually the growth was not that much from 2006-3rd quarter of 2008. But when I started working on September 2008, every month I bought at least 2 figures. And now, the number of figures I have now is more than 3-fold of what I used to have by my final year in uni (March 2008 picture).
Benefits of a job huh? I still don't have one and don't consider getting one until I finish my last a year and a half.
