MoeKami-san has created paper-folding patterns to make 3D bishoujos.
To see his patterns, you need to get the free Pepakura Viewer.
He releases his patterns free for a limited time, then they are taken offline. But you may still view his previous works at his website.
To design your own bishoujo paper folding patterns using Pepakura Designer, start with your favourite 3D mesh creation software, export to formats compatible with Pepakura designer, and good luck, Matey !!
That's pretty cool! I remember there is a plugin for 3ds max that lets you turn any 3d model into a papercraft. In one of the game companies I worked at, we were doing Sonic Rivals, and we decided to take the Sonic model, and make a giant papercraft statue out of him. It's pretty impressive!

Wow, those are pretty cool. I recently made the Guildwars Chibi-Gwen papercraft model that Arena-Net released, it's alot of work but really rewarding ^_^
