Dollfie Dream Nanoha + January Loots
Well, after being heavily bombarded by Punynari and another member from this one forum that I go to with Nanoha Dollfie, I have no choice but to gave into temptation and hunt down for my own Nanoha.
It would seem like that luck is on my side this time as I was able to grab her brand new off Mandarake for a price below Volks retail price at 70,000 Yen. If I were to get her off Yahoo Japan, she probably would have cost me well above 100,000 Yen + shipping =.=.
I'm already well aware of her beauty from review pictures off the net, but man, seeing her in person is truly another sight of beauty to behold upon. Her wig was also much more easier to manage as well. I have quite a nightmare dealing with long hair DD (ehm......Yoko >.<) so I was kinda expecting the same for Nanoha, but to my surprise, her wig hold out pretty good ^^.
My only complain is the leg, due to Volks unique design with her leg, they are extremely weak making it really hard for Nanoha to keep her balance. Even if I manage to get her to stand on her own, after awhile, she will just fall down >.>

Well, beside from the biggest part of this month loot, which is Nanoha herself, I also manage to pick out some other goodies as well.
First one is Figuarts Kabuto. After finishing Kamen Rider Kabuto, I knew in my heart that I got to have one of the goody from this series. After much considerartion, I decided that Figuarts Kabuto will be the one, his price is extremely decent and quality is top notch. Even though, he is my second "male" figure, I got to say, he is among my most favorite action figure to play around with, he is an extremely durable toy. Bandai really did a good job with their Figuarts line ^^
Second one is Alter 1/8 Jubei. For those that read my previous posting before, you will notice that I already make a post showing my Jubei awhile back already. Well, this Jubei is my 2nd copy of her >.>. Why a 2nd Jubei you may ask ? Well.....................she is just simply my favorite PVC out there, so I always wanted a 2nd Jubei for the sheer purpose of "safe keeping". Problem here is that Jubei is quite rare and sold out pretty much everywhere, places that still had her always ask a ridiculous amount of money for her >.<.
Well, when I saw that my local hobby store had her in stock for a mere listing price of $87.99, I knew that this is my chance to get a "safe keeping" copy for Jubei. Not only that, since this is my local hobby store, I don't have to pay sale tax (this is one of the secret menu item, you got to ask for it) and shipping fee, there is not much to hold me back from getting her XD

Volks did a good job on Nanoha and her eyes are really a nice shade of blue. Just as they should be. You just need the right lighting to bring it out (and I see you have that ^^).
For their legs, for both Fate and Nanoha, for some reason in their default uniforms they will sometimes fall down and I had to use a stand when shooting them. If you have/can get a hold of her alternate outfits, I found she can stand much better in that. Didn't even need the stand in most cases.

Yea, after reading your review, I was a bit worry that the eyes might not turn out well either. I mean I can see her blue shade really well in person, but it is a whole different thing when it come to picture lol. Well, good thing is that all the pictures turn out really well =)
I like her instructor outfit, but overall, I still like her combat outfit the best, so I guess investing in a stand for her is the better route plus I can save some money as well heheheh

I agree with you with the figuarts figures, very poseable and playable. My Domon Kasshu fig is one my favorite action figures. I'm planning on getting Goku and Piccolo too as I feel I have too many female action figures.

Well technically speaking, if you manage to get them at Volks retail price, they are only about 6-7 PVC figures ^^

I found Rin's wig to be far easier to put on than Nanoha's. I tend to be overly careful so Nanoha's was a pain to put on for me XD
Mandarake is trully the savior for late comer XD. Anyway, look like I'm opposite from you then, Rin's wig gave me quite a bit of trouble to put it on, I kinda have to force it on her head since it keep sliding off >.>

The only negative thing is that even if you see the item listed on their site, it doesn't mean they have it instock, you got to order it, wait 3 days or so before they can get back to you with the confirmation that the item is instock
Oh, yikes. You'd think for people who call themselves "masters of time" they'd be more prompt updating things. . .
Well, I heard that the time can vary for different order though, some people get a confirmation within hours after they place the order
