Candy Boy (GSC)
My love of Candy Boy is something COMPLETELY unexpected for me. I found their relationship wonderful and wholehearted. In any relationships in manga/anime I need to feel a certain something about the interaction between the two characters in order to accept it. But this duo won me over completely during their short anime series, I would love it if there was a Candy Boy 2.
Although honestly…I don’t need to know anything about the characters or the anime to love these figures. The poses are wonderful. The character designs are lovely, and they manage to look unique in school uniform. In fact I had them pre-ordered before I even knew who they were! They were some of my most looked forward to figures this year. My excitement for them was on the same level as my excitement for Distant Avalon Saber.
I never watch this anime before, but sure the figure are beautiful ^^

I agree with your thoughts on this. There are figures I only know through the DC community, and for me I would purchase those even though I know nothing of the characters. Simply because I like the way they look. After all, they are works of art by very talented people.
To take a 2D character and sculpt them into something you can hold, AND make them an accurate representation is nothing short of amazing to me.
For me, it's always the character that attracts me to a figure. I always place appearance, pose, details and paint job second to character.
Since I am enjoying the Anime, I might pick these two up sooner or later.
These two is my favourite ^__^. At the first glance i bought them without hesitation for their cuteness. Then i slowly enjoy their anime with both of them stand next to the screen. Wonderful ^__^.
I love Candy Boy! Wish there were more episodes though. :)
We gotta pray for some episodes ;) I pre ordered kanade but hat to cancel her because of $$$, I still can get them at fair prices, 1 or 2 games less!!u.u
I think that the yellow background is a bit too strong. >.<
Haven't watched Candy Boy, seems interesting but does it have a sad ending?
These two figures are just really well done. They are simple & nice.. I would love to have them on my shelf. Unfortunately the price is just too high for me- and if you buy one of the sisters, you're kinda forced to buy the other haha
