Need Help With a Tech Problem (CSS Related)

I'm working on my blog and I really like how DannyChoo.com's blog entries look. I want to know how to have my post titles and summaries display over my lead graphics in wordpress. I'd really only like this effect to show up on posts in the 'Featured' category or maybe it's something that can be done with Wordpress custom fields.

Any help would be awesome because I suck at this stuff :__;)

    maybe you could look for a wordpress theme with those characteristics (magazine type themes usually have it) and check the source code / CSS

    I also liked the way Danny had text overlay on the photo. I dunno Danny's way of doing it, but I did a similar thing using divs and positioning CSS.
