Nendoroid Puchi Death Note Case File #02

I didn't want to push my luck too far after managing to get the whole set of Case File #01 in a randomly packed box, so when I saw that J-List was offering pre-orders for a guaranteed full set of Case File #02 I made the order right away. It arrived today (to my surprise as J-List hadn't notified me of the shipment), and I can say firsthand that the figures in Case File #02 are just as detailed, well-made and adorable as the first set.

Case File #02 includes characters from later in the series - Near, Mello and Mikami - as well as the core trio of Light, Misa and L. Light gets the honour of having a secret figure this time around and it's much better than the secret figure from Case File #01. Where the first secret figure was just a slightly altered version of one of the regular L figures, this one is completely different from all the other Puchi Lights and takes inspiration from artwork that most Death Note fans will be familiar with.

On the whole, this set is a bit more lighthearted than Case File #01 with some great facial expressions and makes for a wide range of options for creating scenes, especially if you have the first set as well (for a total of 22 Death Note Nendo-Puchis!). It may take up a lot of space on my shelf - thank goodness they're small, at least - but I'm glad that Good Smile decided to put out two full sets to include pretty much all of the main characters.
