MG Freedom - battle damaged

Ello guys, I have here pictures of my first MG. MG Freedom was actually my first MG, painted with spraycans and decalled with bandai waterslide decals back in March 2008. I recently gave it lots of damages for my Bakuc diorama ( 2009 )...given that the concept is that the Freedom has been dead and laying around for 12 years now, I gave the kit lots of damage effects and weathered it with lots of rust effects...anyways, here are the pics...

The background, (what little there is ;P ) gives it a "drifting in space" look, although I'd like to see more detail that a bit more lighting and a lighter BG would give. *or, are you hiding stuff? kidding, just kidding!* Otherwise, I like the appearance, overall... more pics 'n details, please..
Saw the blog, like the extra detail there, all in all, an awesome piece of work... Please post others from your "Graveyard"....
One of the best weathered looks I've seen so far. I can't see myself doing something like this to my MG's though. Might mess them up literally lol.
Can something really rust in space? That'd be enlightening, because I really don't know.
Other than that, this is so awesome. I don't think I could ever bring myself to doing this sort of thing to any kit but the MG Sazabi if I had it.
nah. nothign can rust in space, cause of a lack of wither water, or oxygen.

nice...battle damage...if u ask me...what a waste for a mobile suit...any way if it's for the competition, why not....needs more angle shots..but very good..!
I was thinking the same. Sayang MG XD but this is one of the best lookin' derelict/battle damaged suits I've seen.
Wonder what kind of weapon did that to the Freedom.
I'll tell you, it's the worst kind of weapon =3=

I just noticed technology-wise, The Freedom should have it's PS armor off (giving it a greyscale paintjob), and in the final battle, there should be more linear burns from DRAGOON shots just glancing blows at the Freedom's armor. Still as awesome as usual, though.
