MG RX 78 2 OYW ver DC23
I finished this kit and posted it at Zero G around April 2009...I think it took me 2 1/2 weeks to build this...a simple kit with lots of parts to paint.
The base model is obviously the OYW version, This is a simple build with a few detailing like metal parts and pla plating, just to satisfy my modding itch. However I did not mod it further coz the OYW version is pretty detailed already with panel lines ( which I rescribed meticulously )and this is not a competition piece anyways.
This is simple a practice kit for my AB skills, thus it was just a fun and fast build.
The only fuss I have with this piece is that I made a mistake in the mixing ratio of the main color...instead of producing blue gray I produced a Baby Blue color!...Oh well moving on to my next practice kit.

Thanks for viewing!!! :)

Not a Fan of the colour buit the details and posing is nice =D
very nice details...
I feel that there was excessive unnecessary use of pla-plating here. They look like stitches against the panel lines. And the white round parts at the knee and elbow joints look plasticky against the rest of the paint scheme.
Panel lining and paint finish, I do like though.
hmm..i think the pla-plates are over done, specially on the legs..and the white parts on the ankle guards, knees and elbows looks unpainted..^^; and also the color scheme doesn't work for me, just some personal thoughts..^^
on the plus side, very clean paint job and everything looks well executed, over all, great work..:D
Love the color scheme! Except the white parts at the elbow and knee joints, me prefer it to be a dark color ^^
My least favorite model in my collection haha. Love the colors cept' for the white. sticks out quite a bit. Nice work tho !
Thanks guys for the inputs! appreciate it! :)
