Hell Just Froze Over.

I thought I saw it all when the pic of figma Michael Jackson came out, but THIS~~~!!!
I want these, and I feel guilty. I';m a big supporter of Bandai's S.H. Figuarts line of figures solely for the Kamen Rider figures they release, and love the fact that they're pretty compatible with figma figures in temrs of scale. But THIS--this was totally out of left field for me. NEVER have I even dREAMED that Max Factory would go and do Kamen Rider figures!
Yes, I realize these are actually renditions of the "US Kamen Rider Dragon Knight" version, but still--it's outright impressive and blew me away.
But that then makes me worried. I love my Figmas and I love my Figuarts. If I buy these, I'm not even sure how to take them (but you know I WILL buy these...)
How many of you collect both figmas and figuarts, or are interested in Tokusatsu series like Ultraman, Kamen Rider, etc., as well as anime and games? I'm wondering about your thoughts on this; i.e. whether Figma toku figures are a good idea and will sell, or if this is something best left to Bandai...

I'm a sentai/tokusatsu fan. Not that big a fan of the US versions of these series though. But I do DARE GSC to release the main Showa/Heisei Riders *points at Decade movie lineup*. With their penchant for milking a specific franchise, I'm sure they can pull this off.
I haven't seen Dragon Knight, but from what I hear, Japanese fans actually liked it when they dubbed it back into Japanese (even getting the original Kamen Rider Knight to dub his lines). Which pretty much means that, even if it's not spectacular, it probably passes.
Personally, I'm actually wondering how Max Factory got the rights in the first place without having Bandai go ballistic...
I wonder, there are no SHfigurearts super sentai (Gao,Geki, zyu, deka or any rangers)..maybe GSC do the Super sentai figma somehow ^Y^ (i LOL if they do a Kamen rider kabuto or Faiz figma he he) ..
I'm hoping the do Faiz and Agito!
I'm having the exact same feelings as I saw those photos. Wonder how Max Factory got the rights. And if Max Factory can produce Riders that haven't received the SHF treatment and don't look malnourished, they could give Bandai a run for its money.
I'm thinking that they acquire it via Adness Entertainment, not Bandai.
Still, it looks high-quality. Maybe they would include Marvel, DC Comics, or even some of the old Tokusatsu shows that were produced either by Toei or Tsurabaya in the future.
Maybe they can pull off a Kamen Rider W line, but with interchangeable body halves! That way, we wouldn't have to buy so many of them.
Err....Bandai DOES make a line of Kamen Rider W split-body/swap-body toys (The WFC line). They're just not as good as Figuarts, much less figma.
