Retaining Thy Lens Self
Been playing with Chibi Lacus-chan these past few days, fiddling with her body and researching around the net for advanced ways to caress her... ^^;
So far she doesn't disappoint me in many ways, and she doesn't mind my greasy fingers at all... 0_0

Yesternite a chibi envelope arrived at my den, immediately recognised it as the particular eBay item I acquired about a quarter of moon ago, free shipping and such... ^_^
It's a self retaining lens cap JJC ALC-3 for my Chibi Lacus-chan, a third party peripheral from a Hong Kong based modder.

Installation is pretty straightforward, just unscrew the ring attached on Chibi-Lacus-chan's lens and attach the peripheral in its place...
Notice that I have exchanged the default strap with the one used on Fey-chan... I prefer to keep my girls close to my hands... ^^;

With this I won't have to remove and replace the default lens cap ala DSLR as this particular modification allows Chibi Lacus-chan to push her way out at ease...

The tri-piece retracts as Chibi Lacus-chan returns to her loft... ^_^

A tele-zoom test piccie with the mod installed...
Keen-eyed enthusiast may notice slight shadowy area on each corner at the top of the piccie... The vignette is caused by the pointy ends of the tri-piece of the installed cap...
The problem is more noticeable at a 3:4 aspect ratio... Will need to remedy this problem later using foam tape or something... ^^;

Another test shot, this time at wide angle...
No problem in this mode tho, altho it seems there's a limit at how close an object can be before the built-in macro mode lost her touch, no wonder macro lens are needed as advised by many enthusiasts...

An attempt at a bokeh shot...
This technique is pretty much impossible for the veteran Fey-chan... XD
