If you're building them out of the box, the MG is your best choice. I won't go much into detail but an MG is more detailed and articulate than their HG counterparts, straight out of the box that is.

If you have the budget for an MG, I suggest getting the MG. ;)

Okie I didn't quite answer the post title...

      Copy-pasta:
Master Grade (MG) - 1/100 - the most popular grade among others. second most details kits than perfect grade. has a inner frame and also outside armour.

Normal/Non Grade (NG) - 1/100, 1/60(Big Scale NG) - MG scale with no inner frame and also of course less details than MGs

High Grade(HG) - 1/144 - NG level with smaller scale.

The Nu HWS is only available in the HGUC grade. Its a variation of the Nu Gundam with additional armor.

In general terms, DekaMastah is correct, but there have been some exceptions.
If you want to get a Nu Gundam kit, the MG is more expensive, but has a longer build time (a blessing or a curse for some people), better part separation (meaning less painting to do), and features die-cast parts (the hip and ankle joints, but only this MG has them). The HGUC is cheaper, but requires less time to build, has decent articulation (almost in the same league as the MG counterpart), and is far more stable (it can actually stand properly, even with fin funnels attached).
Dalong.net is an excellent resource to use when trying to find out what to get, even if it is in Korean.

Oh, and welcome to the wide world of Gunpla.

I suggest you getting the hguc version.
MG Nu is a quite old MG, proportion wise, I still think that hguc wins over MG Nu, details about the same, coz the hguc is new.

Nu HWS is basically a Nu gundam plus the armors and heavy weapons.

Pointblank already posted the reviews by dalong.net. You can easily see the difference ^^

    Ok thanks everyone.
I thought the hws missed a few parts to be transformed into the regular nu gundam.

HGUC hws nu has been ordered :D

i personally think the stock MG Nu Gundam is UGLY as can be. That massive head just throws the whole thing off. I have had several MG Nu Gundams and I ended up using a conversion kit on each one.
