"Super" Tsukasa and Miyuki

Posted by anonymous_object [www]

Following my Super Konata and Super Kagami reviews from last year, it's time for a Super Tsukasa and Super Miyuki double review!
Well, technically, these are FREEing's 1/4 scale Lucky Star figures but they're massive enough to be considered "Super". xD

Like Kona-chan and her sister before her, Tsukasa is inherently cast off-able. Well, since her clothes are actual fabric and be exchanged, it’s kind of necessary ^^; Anyway, it wouldn’t be a complete review without some clothes-less pics, right? ;)

OK, moving on to Miyuki ^^

もえもえドジっ娘?(moe moe dojikko?) Well, this dojikko is also conveniently the most well endowed among the Lucky Star girls. A dangerous combination, I think ^^;

Once again, it’s cast-off time! >_<;
Miyuki’s maximum risky curves are all the more apparent when she takes off her gym uniform.

Entire FREEing 1/4 scale Lucky Star set, finally all together ^^

Pink shimapan, blue shimapan, purple shimapan, and white pantsu! ^^;

    Tsukasa and Miyuki do look adorable. Seeing all four together, alas feel that Kagami is the least appealing as her facial expression just isn't as spot on in my personal opinion.

    Although these Freeing 1/4 scale figures are huge and expensive, do like the option you will be able to get them alternate outfits, kind of a middle ground between a normal scaled figure and a ball jointed doll.

    Tsukasa so cute! Even in her undressed state!

    I have the Konata and Tsukasa statues. I love them both and looking to get Miyuki and Kagami one day. One thing I noticed is that mirror on both of my plastic stands is sort of scratchy. Does anyone else have that issue?

      I just figured out why the mirror is scrathy. Turns out there is a protective film on top that you have to peel off.

        Hehehe, yeah, you have to remove the plastic cover xD
        The mirrors embedded in the bases look pretty nice once you do but then they are vulnerable to real scratches >_<

      You should get them soon before they are too scarce! Are you going to get any of the extra outfits? :)

        Yeah, that's true. I wanted to get a Yuki Nagato Gekisou figure, but now they're really expensive (over $200 on Ebay). That's what happens if you wait too long for a good deal. The last time I visited the freeing.co.jp website, they only had the cheerleader uniforms for sale. I didn't like how it looked very much. But I just went there again and now they have a winter uniform and shrine maiden outfit for sale. They look much nicer than the cheerleader uniform. Hmmm, a shrine maiden outfit on my Tsukasa? That's something I would consider. Which Freeing Lucky Star statues do you have?

          Oh, wait, that's a dumb question. I didn't realize you started this post. Looks like you have them all.

          Yep, got them all ^^. I didn't realize FREEing was selling the cheerleader outfits separately. I see a product page for on their site but not any links to buy them. It would be nice if they could be purchased individually.
          I was lucky enough to find a nice person in Japan who mailed in my proofs of purchase for me so I will be getting the cheerleader outfits when they come out in April ^^.
