SD 00 Raiser
this is my entry for the Gundam Giveaway (i hope i made it in time b4 the deadline).. as u can see from the image below.. this is the only Gunpla i have for now. bcoz, i just start this collecting early of this year.. for starter, i only collect HG. for a newbie like me.. it's a good practice b4 i start buy an MG.. ^^
so, the one im gonna submit for the gundam giveaway is my SD 00 Raiser..
the reason of this is my most proud that i ever made of is..
1. i like it, coz it's.......... cute!
2. i made a little modification or, should i say... upgrade ^^
let me show u what i did to my SD 00 Raiser..
let's turn off the light... ^^
yes.. i put led lights to the head, n the GN drives..
2 on the eyes, each on the GN drive..

so, this is why SD 00 Raiser is my most beloved gunpla among the collection i have.. if u have any question, fell free to ask..

Any question...would be of course how do you put those LEDs? ^^
As far as I know, the eyes are made of solid parts and only the GN drives are transparent.

i cut and made a hole at the eye part and cover the hole with a plastic cover ( yg selalu digunakan utk buat folio tu.. ntah apa namanya dalam bi..^^; )

So, like tamerchris said, how did you insert the LEDs into the 00 Raiser?

i wonder if pjal is the person i've met over in the local forum in my country.
the person i know he used the LED unit that you can find in the lighter.
yes, cigarette lighter that you can get from the night market, if you have one near your area.
i'm not sure this kind of cigarette lighter is available overseas or not though.
the LED unit needs to be mod into smaller size so that can fit into the GN drives.
and of course, you need to cut out the eyes (ouch) so that the light can shine through.
for anything else, hope pjal will explain for us >.<

and about the LED.. actually.. i dont use cigarette lighter. i use a normal LED, smaller size that can fit the head.. can be bought at electronic shop for 40cent each.
yes, i cut the eye part.. it's a small price to paid to have a better result.. ^^

It would be better if the forehead and the sides can also emit light but that would be asking too much. XP
i was planning to do that.. but, after i looked at the art box.. it would be different ^^;

(I never tried yet cause I didn't want to ruin a MG but after 6 successful builds I think I can move on! Keep on modding buddy your 00 Raiser is awesome!!

hi, do you think u can post instructions with a list of things needed to fit/make the led lights in the gundam? i REALLLY wana try...but i have no idea how...
i JUST got my SD 00 Raiser and was just looking at trying to put LEDs in....decided to see if anyone else has done it and found your post :D
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE show more or give us some instructions on how you did it :( would be SOOOO greatly appreciated.
like what LEDs did you use, what resistor did you use, what wiring, what plastic did you put in the slots that you cut out for the eyes (green or clear and where did u get it from?? the runner??) what colour are the LEDs (are they all green?)
please...any info is good...maybe show us some internal pics?
