Weekly Lily 56 ...Sorta
Gokigenyou minna-san! Back when I started Weekly Lily, I wanted to do a figure 4koma comic that featured Saber Lily and Haruhi Suzumiya. The point was to do a wordplay on Saber Lily's name. "Lily" is the English word for "Yuri". So having Saber Lily put into a yuri situation was so perfect in my mind!
The Weekly Lily featured many pictures, projects and anime reviews, but quite a few of them also featured Saber Lily (and other characters) in yuri situations!
On February 13th, I've begun putting this idea into paper (or a jpeg, whatever you prefer). Since it's the first anniversary, I thought I'd do a new storyline featuring a character that I haven't put together before. The focus of "The Melancholy Saber Lily" was to do crossovers of anime characters that you'd never see in real life, which is why the title of the series is a hybrid of two anime-related titles.
Before you read the comic, you may want to refresh your memory (or watch the first time) with the first episode of Fireball which featured Drossel.
For a few months now I've been holding off on using Drossel since a lot of people were still posting a lot of her, but I thought I waited long enough for this, especially with a few ideas were ready in mind.
(Internet) Cookies to whomever guess the reference to the first two panels! And yeah, I took a lot more time to do this because of the background. I really want to put Gedächtnis into these 4koma ^^;
Yeah. I was having a bit of fun with Saber Lily XD Drossel and Gedächtnis acts as my "lily panel" for this one ^_^
So umm... Happy Valentine's Day?
