Asuka GK WIP. Update 1.
First update on Asuka garage kit.

Sanded down almost all imperfections and seam lines.

Pinned the kit together, besides several minor pieces like bows and hair strings everything came together pretty nicely. Disregarding, of course, huge gap on the waist. I used 1/16 steal wire and even thinner copper claded steal string.

To fill small holes and scratches as well as air bubbles used Mr. Surfacer 500 from Gunze.

BTW, alarming fact – Tamiya epoxy putty will not be imported to US any more for some bogus safety reasons. So people, stock while you still can, as of now even HLJ won’t ship this stuff to US, I've been told so by a local hobby store owner. Ordered 3 packs off e-bay hope they’ll arrive safely unless “Inspector Raper” will get to them first and I end up in jail with terminal sentence for importing chemical weapon.

Happy St. Valentine's day, minna!

Ooo, very nice. The gap on the waist only seems really noticeable in the side view photo, I hope your going to continue posting progress? I wouldn't mind to see it finished.
