Figure.fm is a community of figure, mecha and doll collectors and admirers from all over za warudo.
Figure.fm is run by Danny Choo who works closely with the figure makers to bring the consumer closer to the products. An example is the Tokyo Figure Show - Danny's first figure show being organized with Good Smile Company.
Another example is the book Otacool that he is working with Kotobukiya to publish.
The first site was launched many moons ago and can be seen preserved in carbonite at http://legacy.figure.fm.
Figure.fm originally launched in March 2006 and is now running on the CGM / SNS / Publishing / E-Commerce platform Mirai Gaia.
Figure.fm has received a ton of press just shortly after its renewal.

I never took much part in the old figure.fm I must say, but I'm totally gonna do so from now on... will keep commenting untill I can upload, if thats the problem lol.

Totally confused but I'll get the hang of this. I happen to have ordered some old G-Gundam kits I built when I was little, so I'll be sure to post those up once they get here.
In the way of figures, I don't have much- just some old Pokémon stuff. ^-^;; I was pretty much banned from collecting them when I was 9. My brother started collecting figures (not anime-related ones, tasteless horror movie junk) around that time, and was constantlyu bugging my parents for money to get more, so I'm pretty much banned. My mother hates figure collectors.

This is fantastic, I hope it's as easy to use as the old figure.fm was. I see my old login in works and that's cool. I just got back from Tokyo yesterday and haven't gone through my pictures but I should have some things to post eventually.
Hey Danny... any chance we can get a list of keyboard shortcuts that work with the editor? So far, I've accidentally discovered that CTRL-L brings up the add link dialog... are there any others?
Hover over the little icons in the editor to see what they do.

Most part of my collection is based on gashapons, and, compared to other people's collections here, is not very big (at the moment), so I'm gonna wait a little 'till I get some really nice figures to show =P Was hoping to order a S.I.C. figure for the Christmas, but I'm dealing with some "priority" issues... How on earth you actually post in figure.fm? Where is a faq regarding new post? Someone please tell us.
It takes time for your account to be moderated. That's why your post isn't showing up on the front page yet.
If you're experiencing other problems go to the "Bugs" category and post your comment there. As you can tell, hardly anybody checks this post anymore^^;

The weirdest thing; I posted my "My Figures are back in their box" post and it showed up in the main page, but my other posts don't ... >__<

How does post moderation work? I've had one post show up as visible on the site in the past, but subsequent ones won't. Could someone help? Thanks.
This remains a mystery. xD I've read somewhere that only posts with an "interesting" content are visible on the page since every post (?) will be checked from mods. From all posts I tried so far, only one appeared in the list after a while. <.< (One sale of mine, other sales and a few posts with some questions were ignored)

Yeah, it's a bit disappointing, especially for Classifieds where timing is important.
I was wondering why my sales posts weren't getting many hits :( Yet some of them are posted multiple times and have 2000+ hits, while mine has only 100 and is a direct sales/not duplicate post :(
