hi nu weapon WIP

Posted by heat horn [www]

Thx to you guys for the help on my previous problem. Now I have already found the right thing to replace the battery.

Actually, I found a lip balm, just the perfect size. But I felt I'd waste the lip balm since I'll never use it. In the end I found a proper one, a plastic tube for eraser. I can still use the eraser without the tube ^^

Here I want to share the WIP with you guys. SB most of the parts with plaplates and plabeams.

pla beams used a the frame. Plabeams are square hollow section.

Cover the surface with masking tape. I don't want my epo putty to land on all the surface.

close the gaps with epo putty.

wait till half dry, then remove the masking tape.

why half dry? Coz I want to trim the excessive epo putty. A fully cured epo putty is super hard to cut.

Pretty damn good, and you're right about half-dry Epoxy Putty.

Another alternative is to get Polyester putty (Modelling polyester putty, not the hardware stuff). When fully dry, you can cut it easily like styrene plastic, and it's fairly easy to sand, too.

Maybe you should put another handle on the top of the cannon, so you can transport it easier (like the Hyaku-Shiki's Hyper-Mega Bazooka launcher), but after looking at the cable that comes from the back and into the display base, that seems unnecessary. Looking forward to the full product!

ah yes!! We have the same idea :D
If you look at my previous post, there is a handle on top. So the weapon can be held like a bazooka, or like a big 2 handed cannon.
